This unit is great because it is only about a 5-8-min walk away from Oasis Primary School, Punggol Secondary School, and Punggol View Primary School, as well as a slew of preschools that are also within walking distance. So you should have no problem finding a school for your kids and they will also be able to enjoy the convenience of being so close to school (which means they don’t have to wake super early to get there on time).
Some schools that should only be a short bus ride away include Edgefiled Secondary School, Horizon Primary School, Punggol Green Primary School, and Yusof Ishak Secondary School.
There are multiple playgrounds that are also within walking distance and even some good food options: you can enjoy some chilli crab at Master Crab Seafood Restaurant at a hawker that’s only a 2-min walk away. This is second on our list in terms of price, but first in our hearts for its interior design theme. The opulent design reminiscent of rich families in K-dramas like Boys Over Flowers was the first thing that caught our eyes; the ornate pillars sectioning off the entertainment space that’s on a raised platform really elevates (ha, get it) its look.
The whole living area is completed by a crystal chandelier and gold-trimmed mirror, and the warm cove lighting which creates a cosy vibe that invites you to settle down on the plush white leather sofa and rest your eyes on the calming green of trees just outside your window.
Even the entry way is decked out with a bar and a good-sized bench for removing shoes, to be put away in storage closets that blend in with the luxurious theme of the unit.
What we really love about this, though, is that the price still falls within market rate, which is about $690,000, according to the 2022 median price of 5-room HDB flats in Singapore.
However, as luxurious as the unit looks, it may not be your style. And it may take a bit more for you to undo the renovations done.
The master bedroom may seem tight on space due to the size of the bed, but you can always switch it out. There is a dedicated space for the vanity table, tucked along the interior corridor that leads to the en-suite bathroom, which we think is really nice touch for the ladies.
