Top Developers and Banks Showed Their Support for Ohmyhome’s First Expo

Five of the country’s top real estate developers, plus two major Philippine banks lent their support to Ohmyhome’s first home expo this past October 14. Aside from meeting representatives from Vista Residences, Megaworld, DMCI, RLC, and Ortigas Land, attendees were given the opportunity to view a number of property presentations and talks that shared in-depth knowledge about homebuying, investing, and financing and more.

The Ohmyhome Property Expo

The main draw of Ohmyhome Expo was the property showcase that featured current projects from five of the country’s top developers. Vista Residences shared a glimpse of their expansion projects in Manila while Megaworld focused on highlighting their BGC projects and the emerging Northwin Global City in Bulacan. Meanwhile, Ortigas Land unveiled some of their newest projects in their Pasig stronghold. DMCI similarly featured their Pasig and Taguig projects and RLC happily shared details about their new Bridgetowne district. Sales representatives from all five developers were also on hand to answer questions, issue quotes, and share marketing materials. 

Of course, buying property requires a sizable investment, so representatives from two of the country’s top banks were also on hand to provide financial advice and assistance. Representatives from the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and CTBC Bank were also present to offer low-interest home loans and share their investment tips. 

The event kicked-off with a series of presentations from Ohmyhome Expo partners, who shared their knowledge and advice about real estate, investment, and financing. This included presentations such as “The Basics of Property Investing: Getting Started and Building a Portfolio” presented by Mr. Arwee Cancino, Seller Development Officer of DMCI Homes. Mr. Cancino shared his knowledge about the importance of investing in real estate. Mr. Ivan dela Luna, the Senior Assistant Vice President of Megaworld, also shared his knowledge on “The Art of Real Estate Income: Turning Properties into Cash Flow”.

Representatives from bank partners also had a chance to present.Mr. Mark Lester Salamat, CTBC’s Manager for Brokers Channel gave a short talk about “Mortgages and Homeownership: Building Equity with Bank Financing.” After that, Mr. Michael Rosales of BPI talked about their home loan products such as the BPI Pabahay and 777 Housing Deals. In between presentations, snacks were served and questions were answered by the host and guest presenters. Attendees received tokens, freebies, exclusive deals, and special prizes were also given to the lucky winners of the roulette draw.
