Roles and Responsibilities

As the key member of the management team, the FM/Senior FM interacts with senior stakeholders and other members of a company. You will report to the CEO as well as the CFO. Your roles and responsibilities will include:

• Manage the company’s financial planning, and provide strategic recommendations to the CEO/President and members of the executive management team
• Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
• Responsible for ensuring the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the Group
• Reviewing all formal financial control and related procedures to ensure compliance
• Track and ensure cash flow is appropriate and sustainable
• Prepare periodic financial reports to both internal and external stakeholders, including monthly management accounts, quarterly financial results, annual reports, cost analysis, budget and forecast reports, etc.
• Interact with and manage external auditors in preparation of audited financial statements. 
• Establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven experience as financial management, financial planning and analysis (FP&A),  or relevant roles, with at least 6-9 years of experience in finance management roles, and progressing to become the CFO
• Hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis and implementation of financial control frameworks, and a fast learner
• An analytical mind, proficient with numbers, and professional experience US GAAP accounting standards is a plus
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management and accounting software (e.g. Xero)
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis, experience in budgeting and forecasting methods
• Ability to strategize and solve problems, strong leadership and organizational skills and the ability to manage teams across multiple geographies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide timely and accurate updates while resolving issues quickly
• Listed company finance management experience will be a plus
• Experience working in technology companies and startups with fast-faced and result-driven environment is a strong plus
• CPA is a strong advantage
• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
