Daily necessities are within arm’s reach at Woodgrove Edge

Woodgrove Edge comprises 7 residential blocks of varying height, from 15 to 16 storeys, and is anticipated to be ready in under three and a half years. Every essential is within reach, with a plethora of integrated amenities, including a minimart, hawker centre, preschool, residents’ corner, and more shops.

Moreover, Woodgrove Edge is designed to promote an active and vibrant community, boasting multiple playgrounds and fitness stations. These amenities cater to residents of all ages and encourage a healthy and dynamic lifestyle. Adding to the charm of the development are two enchanting roof gardens, providing serene spaces for relaxation and community bonding.

Limited connectivity to public transportation and amenities

This site is along Seletar Expressway, bounded by Woodgrove Ave and Rosewood Drive, and its closest MRT station is Woodlands South MRT (TE3) and Woodlands MRT (NS9/TE2). They’re not within walking distance, but we suppose they’re close enough by bus.

There are only a few amenities nearby, such as Causeway Point, Vista Point, Woodlands Civic Center, Woodlands Sports Centre, and Woodlands Community Club. Though, again, they’re not walkable.

However, Si Ling Primary School, Fuchun Primary School, and Singapore American School are about an 8-min walk from Woodgrove Edge.

That said, Woodgrove Edge is relatively close to Seletar Expressway. So if you drive, you may be more suited to move to this area as going places won’t be much trouble.

Woodgrove Edge BTO Price vs Woodlands HDB Resale Prices

With the most BTO flats offered for sale being in Woodlands, there’s bound to be a higher demand for it, especially as there are 5-room flats available. As you’d expect, these bigger flats saw the highest application rates in the December 2034 BTO launch in Woodlands.

Woodgrove Edge BTO Feb 2024: Resale HDB Alternatives in Woodlands

A 3-room resale flat (731 sq ft) at 694D Woodlands Drive 62 is available for $480,000, without any Ethnic Quota restriction. This top-floor unit is a few minutes’ walk from several schools such as Greenwood Primary School and Spectra Secondary School.

There’s also a renovated and well-maintained 4-room resale flat at 553 Woodlands Drive 44. It’s a rare corner unit, about 1,238 sq ft, and is a short walk from Vista Point mall for food and retail options, as well as grocery needs with a Giant supermarket and FairPrice within it.

Now, several 5-room premium apartments are for sale in the vicinity. A spacious 5-room flat (1,313 sq ft) at 749 Woodlands Circle is for sale at $650,000. At 524 Woodlands Drive 14, another 5-room flat (1,388 sq ft) is for sale at a slightly lower $640,000.
