In conjunction with its 25th anniversary, Gamuda Land, one of Malaysia’s top property developers, recently announced a photography contest called, “Through Your Lens” which aims to capture the beauty of its various developments through the camera lens of the general public.
“Through Your Lens” will run from 1 January 2020 to 30 April 2020 with four different monthly themes namely community (January), town-making (February), design innovation (March) and nature (April). The general public participating in this photography contest stand to win an RM20,000 cash prize while members of Gamuda Land’s loyalty program, GL Friends, can win a unit of the property developer’s own HighPark Suites in Petaling Jaya.
To participate, simply upload a photo to Facebook or Instagram or both with the hashtag #sincereresponsibleoriginal. A panel of judges from The Star Media Group, Sin Chew Media Corp, National Geographic and Canon Malaysia will decide the winning entry. Participants with the most meaningful entries can also win bi-weekly prizes for ‘top 10 most liked’ entries to the contest.
According to Ngan Chee Meng, Chief Executive Officer of Gamuda Land, they have spent 25 years carefully crafting numerous township developments in Malaysia and overseas where they have created and shared countless memories and experiences with their community.
“In recent years, we have strengthened our placemaking in our newer townships, allocating bigger community spaces such as lush central parks, cascading lakes, sports, events, and recreation space to name a few,” he says. “We warmly welcome everyone to our developments to share your experience with us through your photos.”
